$1,500-$3,000. Give this to your superintendent, or run it yourself.
Construction management: $5,000 to $50,000 and up. This is the complete package,
from initial budget to the final cleaning crew. If you are involved with other projects,
or would like to expand without putting on more staff, this is the answer.
In-house consulting: estimating, scheduling, creating maximum cash flow, locating
desirable projects, growing your business and much more, at $30 per hour.
New designs in the works:
We are currently designing a series of affordable, green-built homes.
The homes will range in size from 1400 to 1700 square feet, and will cost
from $122,000 to $145,000 to build, not including the lot.
They will be available in ADA compliant designs and will be low maintenance.
The homes are designed to be energy-efficient from the ground up, and will
be certified by the NC HealthyBuilt Homes and Energy Star programs.
These programs insure that the homes meet stringent quality standards for
insulation, air quality, energy efficiency, and safety.
Our designs are green, but it’s green that makes sense. We carefully weigh the
payback time, and get the best value for the dollar. The US Department of Energy,
HUD, and the Partnership for Advancing Technology in Housing (PATH) provide
us with a huge amount of useful data to apply to these house designs.
The designs and blueprints will be available to builders,
owner-builders, community housing groups, and the general public.
The blueprints will include everything needed to construct the house, plus
window and door schedules, and current prices for all labor and material.
Also included will be a set of specifications, containing all the necessary
information related to the materials and equipment going into the house.
The interiors of these houses are designed by a very skilled woman,
who understands the concept of designing for the entire family.
The overall structural design is being handled by a design-build
professional with 30 years of experience. These houses will be easy to build,
and easy to maintain.
